Paint right out of your home! Ready, Set, Paint! offers one of the finest painting experiences anywhere in the world. However, we understand that not everyone can come to our studio. So we've created a unique way to let everyone in on the fun of Ready, Set, Paint! We have unique ceramics and paints that allow you to air-dry or bake china right from home. Birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, bachelorette parties, corporate team building, scout troop meetings or just about any gathering can be made more fun and festive with the products offered by Ready, Set, Paint! Everyone of any ability can paint china, and here's how it's done.
Decide on the occasion: Birthday party, bridal shower, baby shower, bachelorette party, graduation party, corporate team building event, Christmas ornament painting party, etc.
Go to our online shop and choose the ceramic pieces you would like to paint. Every piece of china you order comes with a small brush and a set paints (eight different colors). Add these pieces to your shopping cart.
Decide if additional paint will be needed. Each piece of china ordered comes with paint of 8 different colors, 1/8 ounce each. A total of 1 ounce of paint will be supplied. Some of the larger items might need additional paint, especially if a lot of one color is used (e.g. painting an entire teapot one color with 2-3 coats). Add additional paint to your shopping cart.
Select additional brushes if needed. One small brush does come with each piece of china you order. We sell a variety of different brushes for your painting needs. Add these additional brushes to your shopping cart.
Select a Stylus, Red Saral Graphite Paper, and tracing paper if you want to trace designs on to your ceramic piece.
Finalize your order (Check out your shopping cart).
Fill out the payment method, shipping address, and e-mail information.
Get ready to paint a masterpiece!
Once you receive your order, clean the surfaces you will be painting with vinegar for the best results.
Do not mix or thin the paints with water.
Once you're done painting, you can bake the china pieces in your oven or you can let them dry by themselves.
Baking china in your oven
The paints we provide on our online shop are special paints which can be baked in any domestic oven.
For best results, let the pieces dry 24 hours after painting them.
Next, bake the pieces in your oven at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for 1/2 hour. Your items should be dishwasher safe; however, we recommend handwashing all pieces to make them last longer.
Air drying ceramic pieces
Let the china dry for 7 days. They will not be dishwasher safe. Also, do not soak the china.
